Did you know that you can blow a balloon with soda and sweets? You can totally! Soda and Candy Balloon Science Experiment use common household materials to inflate a balloon. It's a pretty simple science experiment for kids. We have worked through several balloon experiments and challenged ourselves to find as many possibilities as possible.
This scientific experiment with lemonade and candy balloons is so much fun! Children learn how to blow a balloon without using their mouth. It's a mini version of the Mentos and Diet Coke Geyser experiment.
Like all our scientific experiments my kids had so much fun with this. They were astonished. I mean, who would ever think you could blow a balloon with soda and sweets?
This science experiment with lemonade and candy balloons works in a similar way to the famous Mentos and Diet Coke geyser experiments. The main difference is that the Fizz is not that big and explosive. In addition, the balloon captures all of the gas and the entire soda from the reaction. However, I still suggest doing this experiment outdoors. We had to hold the balloon where it was attached to the beverage bottle.
